Weddings I have photographed across Italy

Over more than twenty years I have photographed weddings in many parts of Italy. Today I have chosen to focus on the two places I love most: the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, and Puglia, where I live.

Where I photograph weddings today

I now photograph weddings only on the Amalfi Coast – in Sorrento, Positano, Ravello and the villages in between – and in Puglia, from Polignano a Mare and Monopoli to Ostuni, Alberobello and the masserie around Fasano.

Working in fewer places means I know the venues, the light and the practical details of each area well, and that shows in the photographs.

Tuscany

Over the years I photographed weddings in the Tuscan countryside, above all in the Val d’Orcia near Siena, with its gentle hills and UNESCO-listed landscape, as well as in Siena and Florence. Some of those photos are on this page.

Rome, Venice, Matera and the lakes

In Rome I photographed weddings along the Tiber, by its bridges and in the historic centre, where every corner is a backdrop. I have also photographed weddings in Venice, in the Sassi of Matera and on Lake Como.

I found Adamo on a Google search and I am so pleased I did… the photos captured our daughter’s small intimate wedding in Sorrento perfectly and we have memories to cherish forever in his photos
Sally Aris · Sorrento (the reviewer’s daughter’s wedding)
Having been recommended Adamo by a friend we booked him for our wedding in Sorrento. He and his team were absolutely amazing! Adamo was so professional, personal and his way he captured our special day in photos and on film was exactly what we wanted. All of our guests were impressed with his manner, humour and how he and his team interacted with us all. I cannot recommend him highly enough for capturing your wedding/event, he truly is great at his profession.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you still photograph weddings in Tuscany or Rome?

No. Today I photograph weddings on the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, and in Puglia. If you are getting married in one of those areas, I would love to hear from you.

Why did you choose the Amalfi Coast and Puglia?

The Sorrento coast is where I have worked most over the last twelve years, and Puglia is where I live. Knowing a place well makes a real difference to the photographs.
